This special event was held in official collaboration with renowned Italian shooting content creator Tactical Raider Shooting, Italy’s leading authority on optical sight testing and professional firearms equipment evaluation.
I am the speaker for one of the main Italian gun channels and certainly the number one when it comes to testing optical sights and equipment. For about 10 years, I have been a range officer at one of the largest shooting ranges in northern Italy, serving on the long-range line.
I am a certified operational shooting instructor and also give private lessons in long-range precision shooting. Among my collaborators, I can count on several Italian long-range sport shooting champions, and my staff includes former members of the Italian Special Forces and currently serving military instructors.

For this event, we left the sterile, controlled environment of indoor shooting ranges behind, venturing into the untamed mountain terrain to replicate the harsh, unpredictable challenges that hunters, tactical operators and long-range shooting enthusiasts face in the field—putting our brand’s engineering excellence to the most authentic test possible.
Extreme Field Test Challenges
We intentionally curated one of the most demanding shooting scenarios imaginable to showcase GUSHIN Optics’ superior capability: a steep, uneven shooting position with a severely obstructed sight line, choked by dense, wild vegetation that fragmented sight pictures and created constant visual interference.
This wasn’t a casual demonstration—it was a deliberate stress test, mirroring the cluttered, low-visibility conditions of backcountry hunting and tactical field operations, where every inch of optical clarity can make or break a shot.
As the day turned to dusk, the testing hurdles intensified. Our original high-visibility white-and-red target had been shredded and tattered by hundreds of successive impacts, fading almost invisibly into the rocky backdrop. Yet GUSHIN premium optical lenses cut through the chaos, delivering unmatched clarity.
Rapidly shifting light conditions from sweeping clouds created additional challenges, but GUSHIN’s advanced anti-reflective coatings and light transmission technology kept sight pictures sharp and consistent, with zero distortion or glare.
